Reliability</h3><p><strong>Measured by:</strong> Downtime Hours Saved<br><strong>Focus:</strong> Ensuring your IT assets and services remain operational with minimal interruptions<br><strong>Impact:</strong> Directly affects business continuity and operational stability</p><p>Reliability tracks system availability and stability, providing recommendations to increase uptime and reduce service disruptions across your environment. Higher reliability scores indicate IT assets that are less likely to experience unexpected downtime or performance degradation.</p><p>Within the Reliability pillar, Paratira identifies:</p><ul><li>End-of-support hardware and software that could lead to failures</li><li>Systems without proper redundancy or failover capabilities</li><li>Configuration issues that might cause service interruptions</li><li>Performance bottlenecks that risk system stability</li></ul><h3>2. Security Compliance</h3><p><strong>Measured by:</strong> Risk Point savings as per the NIST Risk Framework<br><strong>Focus:</strong> Protecting your IT environment from vulnerabilities and threats<br><strong>Impact:</strong> Safeguards sensitive data and ensures compliance with security standards</p><p>Security metrics evaluate potential vulnerabilities, compliance with security best practices, and adherence to industry frameworks. Security scores are calculated using the NIST cybersecurity framework, with recommendations prioritized based on NIST Special Publications and Control Families. Each asset type receives a weighted score to accurately reflect its security posture.</p><p>The Security Compliance pillar addresses:</p><ul><li>Outdated software with known security vulnerabilities</li><li>Misconfigured security controls or permissions</li><li>Missing security features or protections</li><li>Non-compliant systems that fall short of industry standards</li></ul><h3>3. Higher UX scores indicate IT assets that better serve user needs with minimal disruptions.</p><p>The User Experience pillar addresses:</p><ul><li>Performance issues that slow down user tasks</li><li>Frequent interruptions to user workflows</li><li>System limitations that hamper productivity</li><li>Configuration issues that create poor user experiences</li></ul><h3>5. Environment</h3><p><strong>Measured by:</strong> Kilograms of Carbon emissions savings<br><strong>Focus:</strong> Reducing the environmental footprint of IT operations<br><strong>Impact:</strong> Supports sustainability goals and corporate social responsibility initiatives</p><p>Environmental metrics assess energy usage, carbon emissions, and other sustainability factors. You will have successfully added your first customer.&nbsp;</p><h2>Types of Data Connectors</h2><p>The Paratira platform collects information from vendor portals using APIs. This process within the platform is called setting up a Data Connector. The platform will de-duplicate data into a centralized asset table and then generate recommendations.</p><p>The 2 types of Data Connectors are <strong>Provider Connectors</strong> and <strong>Customer Connectors</strong>.</p><p>Provider Connectors link a single data source to multiple customer profiles.
